About the Construction Calculator (bricks, cement, sand, concrete)

Work out how many bricks, cement bags, sand and crush (bajri) you need for a brick wall, plaster, or a concrete floor, slab or roof. Enter sizes in feet and inches, choose the mix ratio and an allowance for waste.

It uses the standard Pakistani brick (9 × 4.5 × 3 inches) with a 3/8 inch mortar joint, 50 kg cement bags (1.25 cubic feet each), and the usual dry-volume factors for mortar and concrete. Results are shown in bags, cubic feet and number of bricks.

Use it for estimates and to check a contractor’s quantities. Actual use depends on the bricks, the workers and the site, so keep a margin.
