About the Currency Converter (daily rates)

Convert between 40 currencies, including the US dollar, euro, pound, rupee, dirham, riyal, yuan and yen, with exchange rates that are updated every day. You also get the rate both ways and a quick table for common amounts.

The rates are mid-market rates for reference. Banks, card companies and exchange shops add a margin, so the amount you actually get will be a little lower.

How to use it

Questions

How often are the rates updated?

Once a day. The date of the rates is shown under the result.

Why does my bank give a different rate?

Banks add a margin or a fee to the mid-market rate. Compare the total you receive, not only the rate.
