About the Electricity Bill Calculator Pakistan (LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO & all)

Type the units from your meter reading and see roughly what your electricity bill will be. The calculator follows the uniform tariff that NEPRA sets for the government companies: LESCO, MEPCO, IESCO, GEPCO, FESCO, PESCO, HESCO, SEPCO, QESCO and TESCO. It shows every line: the energy charge, the fixed charge per kW of sanctioned load, the fuel price adjustment, the financing cost surcharge, electricity duty, 18% GST and the PTV fee.

Your category matters most. Protected consumers (200 units or less in each of the last six months) pay the lower protected rates, slab by slab. Un-protected consumers pay one rate for every unit, taken from the slab the month reaches, so going from 200 to 201 units makes the whole bill jump. Lifeline connections (100 units or less) pay the lowest rates. If a protected or lifeline home goes over its limit, the calculator switches to the right category and tells you.

The default rates are the ones notified in February 2026. Rates, the monthly fuel adjustment and quarterly adjustments change during the year, and income tax for non-filers, arrears and late payment surcharges are not included. If your bill shows a different rate, type it in “Your own rate” to match your bill exactly.

Questions

How is a 300 unit bill worked out?

For an un-protected home all 300 units are charged at the 201–300 slab rate, then the fixed charge for your load, FPA, surcharge, duty, 18% GST and the PTV fee are added.

What is a protected consumer?

A domestic consumer who used 200 units or less in each of the last six months. One month above 200 units ends the protected status for the next six months.

Where do I find my sanctioned load and category?

Both are printed on your bill: the load in kW near the top, and the tariff (for example A-1a) with protected or un-protected status.

Does it work for K-Electric?

K-Electric uses the same national slabs, but its own adjustments differ; use your bill’s rate in “Your own rate” for the closest estimate.
