About the Ask AI (free AI chat, private)
Ask a question or give the AI a task, such as explaining a topic, planning a trip, writing a message or brainstorming ideas. In Google Chrome on a computer the answer is written by the AI built into the browser, on your own device: free, with no account and nothing sent anywhere.
On phones and in other browsers, Kitwise prepares your request and opens it in ChatGPT or Claude with one click, or you can copy it into any AI chat.

Questions
Why does it say my browser has no built-in AI?
The built-in AI is in Google Chrome on Windows 10 or 11, macOS 13 or newer, Linux and Chromebook Plus, on computers with 16 GB of memory or a graphics card with more than 4 GB. Phones and Safari do not have it yet.
Why is the first answer slow?
Chrome downloads the AI model once (a few gigabytes). After that, answers start in seconds and work offline.
Can the AI be wrong?
Yes. Check facts, numbers and names before you rely on them.
