About the Image Converter (JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC, AVIF, BMP, ICO)

Convert pictures between JPG, PNG, WebP, BMP and ICO. The converter also opens iPhone HEIC photos, AVIF, GIF (the first frame) and SVG, so you can turn almost any picture into a format your app or website accepts.

Choose several files at once to get them back in one ZIP. For JPG and WebP you can set the quality, and transparent parts of a PNG get the background colour you pick. Everything happens in your browser, so private photos are never uploaded.

Questions

Which format should I choose?

JPG for photos, PNG for screenshots, logos and anything with transparency, WebP for the smallest files on websites, ICO for website favicons.

Is there a limit?

Up to 50 pictures at a time, each up to 80 MB. Very large pictures can be made narrower with the width box.

Can it open TIFF or camera RAW files?

No. Browsers cannot read those; save them as JPG or PNG in your photo app first.
