Convert and edit PDFs without uploading them

Kitwise guide · updated

Most online PDF converters upload your file to their servers. For bank statements, CNIC copies, contracts and results cards, it is safer to use tools that work inside your browser.

How to tell if a site uploads your file

Watch for an “Uploading…” bar or a wait before processing starts: that means your file is travelling to a server. Read the site’s privacy page too. Kitwise browser tools say “nothing is uploaded” on the tool, and the work starts at once on your device.

Tip: Scanned PDFs are pictures. Run OCR first to get text, then convert to Word or Excel.

Very large files can be slow on older phones; split long PDFs into page ranges if needed.
