About the PDF to Excel (.xlsx)

Turn tables in a PDF into an Excel sheet: bank statements, price lists, mark sheets and reports. The tool reads the text and its position on each page, puts the text that sits on the same line into one row, and lines the columns up across the page. Numbers such as 150,000.00 or (12,345) become real numbers you can add up.

Choose a page range for long files and decide what goes between pages: an empty row, a “Page N” row or nothing. The PDF is read in your browser and nothing is uploaded, which matters for bank statements.

It needs a PDF with real text. A scanned page is only a picture: run OCR PDF first. Complex layouts with merged cells or text in several columns may need a little tidying in Excel.

Questions

Can it convert a bank statement to Excel?

Yes, if the PDF has text (you can select words in it). Each transaction line becomes a row, with date, description and amounts in columns.

Why is everything in one column?

The PDF is probably a scan or the table is drawn as a picture. Use OCR PDF first, then convert.

Is it safe for private documents?

Yes. The file is read on your device; it is never uploaded.
